Summary
Created first modern website for local high-end furniture builder. Efforts showcased his and his team’s world-class craftsmanship, and led to expanded business into more contracting and preservation projects for some of Oregon’s most notable and historic homes.
High-end furniture building, impeccable craftsmanship, the highest standards in his craft: Patrick O’Neill brings all of these traits to bear in his practice with wood. He wanted a clean, unassuming site that let his work speak for itself, while grounding it in language that reflected the same elemental, modern lines of his work.
Patrick O’Neill and his crew at Greenline Fine Woodworking uphold a centuries-old tradition with an artist’s eye and a curator’s integrity. When Patrick asked me to write and creative-direct his inaugural online portfolio site, I felt honored to carry these precious pieces into the virtual world where everyone could savor their beautiful lines and texture.
I partnered with Jason Hughes of 1976, Inc., who used his mad Flash skills to bring Patrick’s vision to life. In the process, we all came to respect one another’s creative abilities. Patrick is the kind of client who makes you feel proud of what you do because you can see how your work helps them further their efforts to follow their passion.
